Learn to listen with the help of the Hearing Impaired

The community came together for the Hush @ Workplace experience, a unique journey of reflection and relaxation organised by Hush TeaBar. Participants went through a 4-zone journey of silence, awareness and peace led by Deaf facilitators, and learnt how to pause, listen to their hearts, and realign in the midst of their busy lifestyles.

Ms. Ong is a social entrepreneur who launched Hush TeaBar, a social enterprise which hires the hearing impaired as well as those with mental health issues to run workplace wellness programs. As a recently renewed NMP, she hopes to speak up on social inclusion, mental health and volunteerism.
